18's Team: Finished 4th in the Regional Championship Tournament, finished 5th out of 89 teams in the Area League 18's Division, 2008 Season.

16's Team: Finished 1st in the Regional Championship. Finished 1st out of 134 team in the Area League 16's Division in an UNDEFEATED ALL SEASON!

14's Team: Finished 4th in the Regional Championship Tournament. Finished 11th out of 145 teams in the Area League 14's Division.

 

Congratulations to the ALL the Club Shoreline Teams for a great season!

Congratulations to the 16's coach Jen Bryan who earned her AAA on the beach the hard way - by winning a AA tournament, with the final match going to three games. Way to show your team how to win Jen!

What an amazing day at the beach for Club Shoreline. The weather was perfect and all the girls had a blast. Thanks again for all the parent support.

CONGRATS to Lily and Molly for their victory at the NCVA 18's beach tournament. They battled it out with Chloe and Maddie taking the match to three close games.

Congratulations to the 18's team for their victory at the Area League #2 tournament on March 16th.

Lily Denevan had her best tournament yet. Her kills were amazing. Alex DaRosa showed her improvement in attacks and court presence. Sarah Lauderdale came through will kills out of the middle every time she was set. Maddie Young showed so much leadership and carried the team with her setting. Pam Cabrera found her jump floater! Bianca - great passing and a 10 foot kill in the beginning of the tournament - WOW! Molly Glaser's desire to win pushes herself and the team. Christine Alves took the role of "I'll play any position," and she did with ease. Chloe Tushar gets the title of "Miss Dial a Serve" along with MVP of the tournament.

The 18's team is having a blast! Keep up the great team work!

The undefeated 16's team won their League #1 tournament on March 8th! Congratulations!

Dierdre Wilson played excellent in our final match and had some amazing kills from the outside to clinch the win. It was a real team effort with all the girls contributing in each match!

WOW! Congratulations to our 14's team. They took first in the League #1 Tournament on March 9th. The win was very exciting. Karly DaRosa got to take a break from setting and had great attacks and blocks. Her greatest contribution was passing. Alex Bol overcame a rough start in her serving game and came through with a streak of aces in the final match. The best part was watching them play together as a team. They kept their energy and spirits high the whole time. They won the final match in two games against the undefeated Main Beach team. Hooray!

Spring Fling Tournament, March 15th and 16th was also a success. The 14's team took 4th out of 32 teams!

Great Job to the 18's team for taking 2nd in the League #1 tournament. Lily and Chloe both served extremely tough. MVP for the tournament goes to Christine! The team lost to Monsoon in pool play with the match going to an intense three games. Then met up with them again in the finals and unfortunately, due to time, only got to play one game to 25.

Next time girls!!!

Congratulations to the 14's team on their successful first tournament. They took 5th out of 12 teams, losing only one match to the 1st place team, Eclipse. The team played great all day. Makenna came through with her hitting, Mattison was solid on defense and Emily served tough all day. Everyone played as a TEAM! So cool…and good luck at your next tourney, March 9th. Location TBA.

The Presidents Day Tournament for the 16's and 18's was also a huge success. The 16's were seeded 141 out of 171 and finished at 57th! The 18's were seeded 28 out of 52 teams and finished 13th!

Everyone should be extremely proud. All the teams are getting better and improving. Thank you again to the parents for their support and enthusiasm.

Next tourney for the 18's is Sunday, Feb. 24th. Location - Leland High School, 6677 Camden Avenue, San Jose. Players need to be there at 8:00 am for team meeting!

Next tourney for the 16's is March 9th. Location TBA.

Congratulations to the 18's and 16's team. Both won their first tournament of the season!

The 18's team played strong and cohesively all day. Pool Play went really smoothly, winning all 3 matches in 2 games. The first play off game went to 3 games and after the 1st game, we made some adjustments and finished strong. The final match was exciting and we won in 2 games.

Amazing serving from Lily! Great defense and passing from Chloe and Pamela! Bianca came thru in the finals with crucial serves. All of the players did such a great job. MVP for the tournament - Molly!

The 16's team played strong all day as well. Coach Jen said after Pool Play there were some close matches. Everyone had a great tournament.

We wish the 14's the best of luck next Sunday.
