Shoreline Beach Club Summer Sessions
Session Description
Cost of program: $375.00 and $600.00 for both sessions. The sessions will include:
- Shoreline Beach gear: t-shirt, tank top, sports top, sand socks and a hoodie sweatshirt
- Official CBVA (California Beach Volleyball Association) beach volleyball
- Beach drills and game like situations instructed by experienced Club Shoreline coaches
- Club Director: Sissy Nilssen
- Coaches with competitive beach experience: Kjell Nilssen, Jen Bryan, Eric Pauly, David Werdmuller and Lily Devenan.
- Guest instructors: Kirsten Mehl, Tate Walthall, and Ilga Celmins
- Beach volleyball conditioning and speed/agility drills
- Instruction of all beach volleyball rules and regulations
- Minimum of 8 in each level.
First Session
June 20th – July 1st
"Jumbo Shrimps" & "Cut Shots": Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 9am – 12pm
"Line Shots" & "The Digs": Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 1pm – 4pm.
“Hammers”: TBD
Location: Seabright Beach near Natural History Museum
Second Session
July 18th – July 29th (same daily schedule as first session)
Shoreline Beach Club Evaluations
1st Session: The Beach Club has a few available spots in the 1st Session: 1 spot in the Beginning “Jumbo Shrimps”, 1 spot in the Intermediate “Cut Shots”, and 2 spots in the Advanced. Please contact Sissy Nilssen if you are interested!
2nd session evaluation location: 4th Avenue at the end of Seabright Avenue. Go down stairs (located on the end of 3rd Avenue) look for the Shoreline coaches at the courts.
Date: Wednesday, July 6th from 5-7 pm, ALL LEVELS
Evaluation Fee: $15.00 per player
Evaluation Form: Registration, Medical Waiver & Release of Liability Form. Please fill out completely, sign and bring the form to tryouts. 1st Session 2nd Session
Pre-register for the Shoreline Beach Club Evaluations! Send the Registration, Medical Release and Wavier form to the address indicated on form with your evaluation fee. This will make it easy for you and Club Shoreline.
Or email us at sissy@clubshoreline.net to inform us you will be attending the beach evaluations. Include the player’s name and desired level along with any questions you may have. You will be notified via email of any changes made to the evaluations schedule.
